It's easy to create a trip page which will accept bookings & get you paid! Follow this checklist to learn how to set up a trip page in "bookings mode."
Step 1: Create a trip page & make it public
Make the trip page 'public' so that people can click on a shared link & view it.
Note: you can make it 'listed' if you want to embed the trip page into your website
Step 2: Enable Bookings mode under "Pricing"
-It should say "Payments Enabled"
-Add at least one pricing package
-Select at least one payment method
Step 3: Set up your buttons and registration form options
Step 4: Decide if you want a popup to explain the payment process or simply have that message emailed to your travelers after registration
OPTIONAL things you can also do:
Option No. 1: Set installments if you want them to pay a deposit
Option No. 2: Turn on automated reminders so that if your travelers DO NOT pay immediately, they receive 3 email reminders
Option No. 3: Turn off any extra menu items you don't need and do not want visible to your registered travelers
Step 5: Test out what your travelers will experience
-Click "Share Link"
-Click the "Show registration" option, in order to make the registration form pop up, as soon as your traveler loads the trip page
-Click the copy icon on the right (two rectangles)
-Paste the link into a new browser tab
-Go through the flow as your traveler would!
Note: you can always delete the registration after you've tested it & confirm that it works as desired
Step 6: Share your link on social media, email it to people or link from your website to start taking bookings
Be sure to update your SHARE SUMMARY to improve the way your trip pages appear on social media posts.
