Many planners can coordinate on a trip at the same time as Co-Planners, but only one of them can be the Trip Owner.
All Team Members are Co-Planners on team trips, but Co-Planners can be added to individual trips as well. That said, not all Co-Planners are Team Members.
What is the difference in access & functionality between Co-Planners who are added to a trip because they are a part of your team vs. a Co-Planner who is added to an individual trip?
Co-Planners added to individual trips:
CANNOT edit the information of the cost for your trips. They cannot edit anything under the "pricing" tab, including adding & editing packages.
Here is the view a Co-Planner will have (note there is no Costs Tab under Update Trip):
CANNOT be sent test emails from the planner
CANNOT push to Xero
CAN still see traveler payment information
CAN be listed as a contact
CAN be available as an option for sending email from the Planner view
Co-Planners that are added when a trip is created are shown in the Activity Log at the very bottom. All members of a team are automatically added to trips created by any other team member.
When a trip is copied, Co-Planners are also copied. So double check your Activity Log after creating your trip to be sure you've got the right Co-Planners.
By default only the Owner's contact information is displayed as the Contact on the Trip Page.
If you need to change ownership or add a Co-Planner as a Contact, ask the Owner to open a support ticket and include the link to the trip and the email address of the relevant Co-Planner.
